We have just released new major WebAsyst upgrade that affects all applications.

What’s new in this upgrade:

1. Contact Manager application is now included in the WebAsyst kernel. This means that you have access to Contact Manager features even if you did not sign up or purchase it separately.
2. Users & Groups screen previously available in the Administrator menu has been moved to the main Contact Manager screen. You can manage users/groups and other contacts from the same screen now.
   NOTE: Access to users/groups management from the main Contact Manager screen can be disabled for those users who do not have administrative privileges.
3. We are introducing a powerful new feature – Contact Lists. You can create lists of contacts/users based on different criteria; e.g., List A may contain all contacts from selected folder, List B – all active users, List C may contain just certain contacts and/or user groups etc. You can use Contact Lists for emailing, text messaging (SMS), or reporting purposes.
4. Sign-Up Form wizard available to generate an HTML form that can be placed on your website. Your website visitors can fill in this form, and all information will be posted to your Contact Manager database. This is a great way to collect your subscriber information in centralized web-based storage.
5. Reports section has been added. Access Rights Diagram previously available under Administrator menu enhanced with customization options and moved to Reports section. New useful reports will be available soon, e.g. contact/user/list statistics, sign-up dynamic etc.

For hosted solution customers, no action is required in order to upgrade your WebAsyst account. All changes have been applied automatically during the upgrade procedure we have implemented on June, 06 04:30am EDT.
