Document Depot: Send Email & Version Control enhanced
We have just released new WebAsyst Document Depot upgrade.
In this release we have introduced enhancements to:
- Send Email function.
- Version Control (VC) handling.
Details are following:
Send Email function enhancement.
Now you can customize Sender Name and Email properties for all outgoing email messages. You have two options:
- Use the same Name and Email for all messages, e.g. Company Name and administrative email address
- Use the name and email of the user who sends the message, e.g. every outgoing message will be “signed” by the sender.
To specify sender name and email:
- Click Document button in the main menu.
- Select Service in the pull down list.
- Click Email tab.
- Click Change button, select preferable option and fill in required fields.
Version Control (VC) function enhancement.
Now you can specify a number of old file versions you want to keep in store. When you upload new file version, then oldest file version will be automatically replaced.
To customize number of versions:
- Click Document button in the main menu.
- Select Service in the pull down list.
- Click Version Control tab.
- Click Change button and fill in required number.
