Issue Tracking application: new features and user interface enhancements

We have released a new WebAsyst Issue Tracking application upgrade. In this upgrade we have added the following features and user interface enhancements:

  1. Issue History Log. Now you can see the history of issues (e.g. transitions from state to state and issue updates) right on the Issue List page. To show issue history, click “Display Issue History” item under “View…” menu.
  2. “Customize Workflow” link now appears directly on the task description bar (available for project manager only) in the Issue List. This will simplify access to workflow customization tools.
  3. Workflow Manager tool has been moved from the “Issue… “ pull down menu to a dedicated menu item under “Workflow…” button in the toolbar. This tool now appears more prominently for convenience of project managers.
  4. Workflow Templates were moved from the Workflow Manager page to a dedicated menu item under “Issue” button in the main (top) menu. NOTE: Please use Administrator/Users & Groups page to give access to Workflow Templates for authorized users and/or user groups.

As a hosted solution customer, no action is required in order to upgrade your WebAsyst account. All changes have been applied automatically during the upgrade procedure we have implemented on August’19 2005 02:00am EDT.

New features included in this upgrade are largely based upon the suggestions of our customers, and are specially developed to benefit you by addressing your specific needs and requirements.
