Using widget to publish downloadable file lists on your webpage or blog

Published October 18, 2007

Recently we have released WebAsyst File List widget that allows you to embed selected files or an entire folder from your WebAsyst Files account into a page on your website or blog.

How it works:

embed downloadable file lists on your webpage or blog using WebAsyst File List widget

All your files are actually located in your WebAsyst Files account. You can upload and organize them using familiar WebAsyst Files features. If you want to publish some files or a folder on an external webpage available for other people, simply select these files or folder, click "Create a Widget" button, and get a piece of HTML code that you can then copy and paste on your external webpage - it could be a page on your corporate website or in your blog.

You can change multiple settings of your widget for the best fit with the website where you wish to embed it. View settings allow you to select Grid or List format, visible columns (e.g. Size, Date, Description), icon size (Small, Large, or Thumbnail), border, etc.

Read detailed description of the widget with live samples.
