WebAsyst Projects and Files services are functionally integrated
Published December 20, 2007
We have significantly improved WebAsyst Projects service. Now you can create a dedicated file repository for every project managed with WebAsyst Projects. On the main page of the Projects service we have added Files tab as it is shown in the sample screenshot below:

On the Files tab you have direct access to the main project’s folder. Here you can upload and download files, create subfolders, and organize all project files.
In fact, the Files tab actually links to the WebAsyst Files service associated with a particular project. All projects folders are also accessible from the main Files service screen and appear in a separate section - Projects Files. Using Files service you can copy/move any regular folder from your Files directory to/from Projects Files section. It allows you easily to link files or entire folder to your project, or conversely, drag a folder from a project’s zone.
Access rights to all project folders are inherited from the project. In other words, you do not bother customizing user or group permissions for every folder linked to your project. Instead, all permissions already set for your project will be applied to the project folders.
